DESIGN HOUSE

As participants in the 2026 Design House Colombia, we conceived the bedroom as an exploration of glass as the defining material of the space. A crystalline platform supports the sculptural bed and establishes its presence, while mirrored walls and reflective surfaces heighten the sense of lightness and dissolve the boundaries between object and atmosphere.

Polished concrete across floors and walls creates a restrained backdrop for transparency, reflection, and light, softened by textiles that bring subtle warmth. Filtered through gauzy veils, natural light activates the glass as a living material, shifting reflections, shadows, and perception throughout the day. Inflected with retro-futuristic references from the seventies and eighties, the space becomes a celebration of transparency and its transformative effect on the spatial experience.
