Fox Bar is a social club project in Chicago, developed as part of the Soho House design team. Designed for an underutilized corner of the club, the project reimagines a compact 45 m² footprint as an intimate retreat defined by warmth, mood, and character. Inspired by the familiar language of the classic English whiskey bar, the interior introduces a more youthful and rebellious inflection drawn from England’s urban punk aesthetic. Rich, enveloping, and quietly subversive, the space balances a sense of tradition with a sharper edge, resulting in an atmosphere that feels both timeless and unmistakably alive.
